Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Aurvyl, on the web or on iOS. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

Aurvyl reads holdings from a brokerage account you choose to connect and presents analysis of them: risk metrics, projections, historical drawdown, concentration and similar measures, with plain-language explanations.

Aurvyl is not a broker, a bank, an adviser or any other regulated financial institution. It does not hold client money, does not custody assets, and has no live order path.

Nothing in Aurvyl is financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation. The analysis describes what you already hold. It does not tell you what to hold, buy or sell. Decisions you take about your own money remain entirely yours.

Past behaviour of a holding does not predict its future behaviour. Any projection is a modelled range built from historical data and stated assumptions, not a forecast and not a promise.

You supply an API key that you generate yourself in your broker’s settings, and you are responsible for the permissions you attach to it. We recommend a read-only key. You can revoke it with your broker at any time, independently of Aurvyl, and you can disconnect from inside the app.

Aurvyl is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Trading 212, and it relies on their publicly documented API. Your relationship with your broker is governed by their terms, not ours.

Market data, broker data and derived analysis can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Generated explanations can be wrong. Check anything that matters against your broker’s own records before relying on it.

Use the service for your own accounts. Do not attempt to breach or test its security, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing dataset. Do not use it where doing so would break the law that applies to you.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely or error free, and we may change or withdraw features.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aurvyl is not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The version above changes when we do, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
